A message from the President
The past year has been an active one for our organization. I hope that you will review the events and photos we have on our event page. In addition to the warriors we are supporting, our team was busy last year with efforts to strengthen our organization, developing and operating on our key values which include:
SELFLESSNESS: The hardest part about being selfless Is forgetting who you really are
DEDICATION: Don’t give up. The beginning is always the hardest. Life rewards those who work hard at it.
RELIABILITY: Simplicity is prerequisite for reliability
EQUALITY: Every human has rights
DIVERSITY: In diversity, there is beauty and strength
As you can see, we believe in operating our organization as effectively and efficiently as possible.
Putting the individuals with sickle cell disorder and their families first is at the heart of everything we do at NIRVANA. In the same token, we would not be able to support these individuals if we do not have a strong patient organization. Hence, why we appreciate our volunteers who has been building commitment, diligence and strong allegiance to NIRVANA and its missions.
We could not operate without financial support; support that is critical to caring and catering for our warriors and the community. To those of you who are not involved, I ask that you consider volunteering, and/or financially contributing to our organization.
Feel free to always ask questions and know that we cannot do it without you!
